| Heritage Academy has decided to help in the disaster relieve in Jackson, TN. The juniors and seniors will be leaving today and coming back tomorrow (they have ACT's on Sunday). The freshmen and sophomores will be leaving Saturday night and coming back Monday night.
Pray for the people affected from the tornadoes as well as Heritage to be a blessing to those we minister too.
Possible updates later with some pictures hopefully.

| "If you will find voice and time to pray, God will find time and voice to answer."
"Every earnest petition for grace and strength will be answered. . . . Ask God to do for you those things that you cannot do for yourselves. Tell Jesus everything. Lay open before Him the secrets of your heart; for His eye searches the inmost recesses of the soul, and He reads your thoughts as an open book. When you have asked for the things that are necessary for your soul's good, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them. Accept His gifts with your whole heart; for Jesus has died that you might have the precious things of heaven as your own, and at last find a home with the heavenly angels in the kingdom of God. " ML p. 16
I'm learning more and more that prayer is everything to me. Without prayer my life would be pointless. Day by day God is teaching me to depend more on Him rather than on my own strength. Lately He has been showing my need to let go and let God. He has been showing me how much I have trusted in my own wisdom.
I'm thankful that God, because He started a work, will not stop till He finishes it. Phil 1:6
What can I say...I am blessed.

| "Some folks look with dread upon the thought of having to wage a continual warfare with self and worldly lusts. That is because they do not as yet know anything about the joy of victory; they have experienced only defeat. But it isn't so doleful a thing to battle constantly, when there is continual victory." Lesson on Faith, p. 3
